Grivel ice axe Nepal SA Plus

The Nepal ice axe was developed for classic mountaineering and glacier hiking. 

The idea for this ice axe, with its minimally curved shaft and forged blade, originated on the Nepal ice axe. SA stands for "self-arrest," the optimal manoeuvre for immediately stopping a dangerous slip with the ice axe. 

The length-adjustable classic wrist strap features a rubber spike protector. The Nepal SA features an easy-to-handle aluminum shaft. The Plus version includes an upgrade to a rubber grip, which makes handling even easier.
